“Love this Album! Just the right fusion of Roots, Rock & Country with adept touches of Twang. Six Mile Grove's modern refresh of Roots Rock has contemporary and at times biting lyrics that speak to our turbulent times while other songs beautifully & intelligently deal with the timeless struggle to find love & happiness! Definitely for fans of Jason Isbell, Tom Petty, Margo Price, early Wilco and beloved but defunct Minneapolis Americana band Bellwether!"”

Million Birds
Minnesota band Six Mile Grove is celebrating the release of their 7th album "Million Birds" January 26, 2019. This much anticipated album celebrates the band's 20th year together, and contemplates the humble human challenges of work, life and family. Notable songs include "Patrol Cars," co-written with singer/songwriter Matthew Ryan, the moody ballad "Shame on us," about the risks of love, and "Wage a War," a gritty Lumineer-esque song wondering about the right time to surrender, and the right time to stand and fight.
